They Dyed the River!
Irish Chicago River
One week before St. Patrick's Day, a day people would all dressed in green for the rich Irish tradition, the Chicago city has a great tradition of dyeing the Chicago River into the Irish color, as well!
Today, I headed to downtown Chicago and eye-witnessed the dyeing process; it was a great day, a little cold with the windchill but well that was pretty much the warmest day in months and the atmosphere was great - everybody there dressed in green or like me, at least having something green in their hand. (note: of course, as a Chinese, I have to hold my laugh when I see people wearing "green hat/cap")
